Thank you for all the information. I located a set of perches out of a 1973 that came with a 390, will these work?

Is it the perches you're talking about or are you talking about the motor mounts?

I just checked the LMC 73-79 website catalog, they DO offer the engine perches. They call them engine mounts. WOW!

Hate to ask a dumb question, but I have a 65 with the 352FE and an auto. Is a fuel injected 302 a better way to go? Is the truck a little heavy for this? Also, if it has an auto in it right now, would I have tocut the floor to install a 5 speed with the 5.0 mustang motor?
