Pinstripe
I have been looking at adding pinstripe on my truck but I just can't find they type I want. I have seen it at all the local auto parts stores but it is just too thin. I have seen a thicker style on some Superduties that say Lariat or XLT in them I believe they are off the F-150s and Excursions. I have checked with the stealerships with very little luck. Thanks in advance for the help fellas.

I have a 2008 F-350 Lariat and installed F-150 pin stripe and script Lariat from Ford Parts dept. The 2000 /2003 F-150 Lariats have the thicker double pin strips and the word Lariat. They have the kit for F-150 Super Cabs and King Cabs. You will have to check out each year to find the color you want.
My 2008 F-350 truck is white with gold bottom. The pin strip between the two paint colors is black and gold. I found the 2003 150 Lariat had a thick double pin strip and lariat script in very, very, dark green and same gold color as the 2008. The dark green is so dark that it is black. Just what I wanted. The F-150 pin strip goes from near the front of front fender, along about 3" below the top of the fender to just 3" behind entry door. The word Lariat is centered over the Super Cab rear door. Now I don't have a large white slab side as the new pin striping has broken it up. The Ford part number from Brookings Harbor Ford in Brookings, OR is XL3Z-1820000-AAB and XL3Z-1820001-AAB. This will help you find the stripe. Check out 2000 to 2003 F-150 Lariats to hopefully find the color you need.

My truck is also oxford white and gold, that is exactly what I am looking for, I would like the gold style and run it front fender to the tail light on my CC SB 250. How much did it run you to do your truck?

The ford stripe kit detail I gave you only runs to either 3" behind the front door on the SC or 3" into box behind the rear King Crew cab. The list price was $91.71 for each side. Also remember the gold color became deeper in about 2004 and then returned to the lighter Pueblo Gold that was used in the earlier 2000 to 2003 F-150's. The color on the 2003 pinstripe I used was a perfect match with the 2008 Pueblo Gold.
The very, very dark green will show black. When you order the ford stripe numbers I listed for you, the order details in the Ford computer will warn you that the deep green will appear black. That it does.
