Make sure you check out your local dealer. I got mine from BroncoGraveyard as they are local to me and had in stock imediately. My local Ford dealer was actually $10 cheaper, but had to order and that would be a day or two.
Just giving you another option.
You may want to replace rubber brake line while you are doing this. It runs through the spring tower. The clip that holds the line in there is a dealer only item as well.
Good luck, let us know if you need anymore info.
They r not bad to replace . Seen allot go that way. If people would take the factory coating off as it peals they last a long time. Good luck on swap. These front ends have the stud for the front shock already I thought . My 93 94 94 all had it but the single tower.
Mine's a single tower too, my bronco's the only one with dual shocks up front. I'm probably going to go ahead and buy new springs (wouldn't hurt). New ball joints and tie rod ends were put in it less than 30K miles ago, but I'd say they were probably at a strain when this thing was dragging down, I might take it and get it lined up after this, don't know.
Thanks for the replies so far, and the tip on replacing the rubber brake line, that things probably dry rotted by now, lol.
