ok i think one four barrel would be more en enough for a 300 but what is ur input on the clifford two carb manifold system would it give even more power or be a gas waster
I agree, you would have to have your 300 tuned to perfection and have all the extras like cams, headers, head work, exhaust, etc... before even considering two carbs.
That and a four barrel is plenty for the 300, and you don't have to tune two carbs to work together.
damn, how many cam's are we talking here? i thought it only had one long *** one. well, i've been wrong before. no but seriously a four barrel woud not only be a gas waster, but imo it would be a waste of money to buy two carbs. i'd save your money and buy something else.
Fuel mileage has more to do with the "fool" and not the "tool". There isn't anything a 4v carb can't do better than a 2v carb including fuel mileage...depending on the "fool" operating it.
Unless one is shooting for some serious performance (fuel mileage is irrelevant) the two carb set is pretty much only good for bragging rights. On the other hand, a stock log intake modified to accomodate a 3x1 progressive set might be the best of both fuel mileage and performance...and bragging rights too.
