Dan, that explains it. If the tank doesn't fit the bed, make the bed fit the tank. I have the 38 gallon tank on my long box so don't plan yet to add any more. The boy has a 60 gal. extra tank that really helped when I used his on a long trip.
Brandon, I was thinking about washing the truck this weekend but the wet snow we had a couple days ago took care of that. It looks pretty clean.

dad, its 80* and gorgeous today, the only thing I can complain about is the yellow pollen all over everything, and messing with my allergies.
How come every wrench session reveals more stuff that needs to be addressed? I went out to start messing with my exhaust and realized that the convolute tubing on the MAP sensor hose has nearly worn a hole in my IC pipe I performed a custom modification to the bracket and took care of that problem. I also noticed a slight bit of a stain around the oil dipstick to oil pan seal area (hopefully an easy fix). Sigh... my list keeps getting longer and longer (and more expensive).
My 7.3 PSD Excursion is on a mercy mission this weekend. We live in Lexington, KY and my brother was up visiting from Alabama and had to have emergency surgery last night. He's facing a much more risky procedure in a couple of days, so some friends have taken my X to bring his wife and three kids back from Alabama to be with him during this tough time.
Times like these sure realign one's priorities but it also makes a guy so thankful for the gift of great friends and a loving church community.

Bill, my thoughts are with you and your family (and his) during this tuff time.
Let me know if there is anything from the Alabama end that I can do.

I'm with Brandon on this. We'll keep you and your extended family in our thoughts and prayers.
Thanks guys! A friend of my brother's picked his wife and three children up and headed north while my friends headed south. I just got a call about 20 minutes ago that they've picked up his family at Columbia, TN and are now on their way back. They've had heavy rain from Nashville south and will have it coming back north but should run out of it north of Nashville.
I use the rainex washer fluid which works great and I sure feel good about them riding in the Excursion. We'll be taking things one day at a time for awhile.
