Grey interior fabric?
Does anyone know the best place to pick up a small amount of Ford interior fabric? I only need about a 12" square piece.
Im shaping a piece of stainless that will be held in place by the visor catches. I want to cover it with the fabric, then use a rare earth magnet to mount my gps to it.
Thanks

I was also wondering that, and need to look into it further. In the end i could always just use the mount it came with but want it up there between the visors. My initial thought is that the gps functions soley with the sattelite signals and not something that would affect it.
The magnet would be 3-4 inches away on the end of the mounting stem, not glued to the back of the gps.

Velcro is your friend. Get the double hook industrial stuff, you might get away with regular hook and loop, but the hook only stuff is stout.
The fabric is a velour, check with audio shops and home furniture stores. I believe Metra has several colors in their install bay book, most audio shops should have one handy.
