After adding some Supertech 2cy oil I might have gotten 1 - 1.5mpg better on this last top off. I only drive it about 4000mi/yr but I put 120 miles on it running around last weekend. About 25miles of that I had 1300lb of concrete pavers in the back. Not really enough to know for sure. I'm going to Utah this Friday for 10 days of fun and wheeling. I'll be dragging my Bronco for about 1000mi total and I sure hope I get better than my last few times - 11/12 mpg. Total weight is around 15,000 or more, including firewood, extra fuel, tools, parts, water, ammo and stuff!
$4.10 - $4.17 around here now. Tomorrow?? Who knows??!!
I have been a little more conservative on how much I add to a tank. I added 9oz. to a full tank to test it out, I am not sure about mileage yet but it does seem to be queter, but the biggest thing I have noticed is that I had a FPR o-ring leak that was on my 'to fix' list and after about 5 days of driving my leak has almost completely dried up. my guess is that the 2-cycle has helped re-lube the o-rings where the ULSD had dried them out. the 2 cycle is the only thing I have changed in the last couple of weeks.
less noise+seemingly good bye fuel leak==
any added fuel mileage is just icing on the cake for me
I feel bad for you guys, but its gunna happen here, its $3.92 here i co springs. I have seen some @ $3.99 mainly the truck stops along the high way. THIS SUCKS!!!! and has been since they raised prices. I read that in fall of 08 and early 09 prices are goin to fall because i cant quote it but, we're gettin oil from some where else... i read it on a msn thing......................
Ok, So my first post and it's just to say that i'm jumping on the band wagon with the 2cyl oil. Not for the fuel milage but to help lube what the ULSD dosn't. Any thing that can help a 7.3 Last longer has got to be a good thing, right?
Tried it out yesterday as well when I filled up. Time will tell on the mileage. I travel around 400 miles a day so if it helps get 1 or 2 mpg better I'll take it.

Add me to the list of those who have had leaks fixed with 2 cycle oil added.
My 97 SD has had a small leak since I owned it. No drips, just could smell hot fuel whenever it was hot and running. Couldnt find the daggone leak even after I had the entire filter assembly out and resealed it. Noticed today that the semll is completely gone after 4 tanks of 2 cycle added. Would have never even thgought about the oil having anything to do with it until I read your post but the smell is comepletely gone.
I started using B100 the first of May, but I don't have a meter yet to measure the gallons I put in the truck. My mileage seems to be up and the truck is more quiet. I am basing the mileage on the fact that I usually switch tanks at about 350 miles and I easily went to 410 miles the other day. It is still a guess though.
I got back from UT on 4/26 but forgot to report my mileage change adding 1oz of Walmart SuperTech 2cy oil/gal. The trip was 980 miles, but the first 150mi heading west on 550 in NM was extremely windy and mileage was real bad so I didn't include it in the calcs here. At 1oz/gal, the cost to add the 2cy oil is 7c/gal. Avg diesel price was $4.10 over the trip. Mileage had previously been about 11.5 trailering my Bronco and extra fuel, water, tools, parts and firewood from Abq NM to UT, all over SW UT, and back home. This trip was about 12.5mpg, except for the first 150mi, which I didn't count. That translates to a fuel cost of 35.7c/mi before adding 2cy oil, and 33.4c/mi after. I haven't opened up the fuel bowl to see if it's getting black in there as some have said but I'll do that this weekend.
