Under the hood of my 2006 6.0L Powerstroke F250 there is a Ford Approved Modification sticker under the hood near the latch that reads "6BCA CMB"... Does anyone know what this modification is?
The sticker has been on the truck since I first took delivery of it this past October (2007)... So it was a used (new to me) truck. The truck is a 2006 model year, and the engine was built in Indianapolis on August 6, 2005 if that helps.
I think that it might mean your truck has been "Flashed"
Ahh... wonder why they'd consider that a "modification" though... it's not really a modification if it's from the factory.
I just got my Oasis back today (did that for the first time) and it's basically a clean bill of health with a few minor issues throughout the history of the truck... A faulty left brake caliper when the truck was new and a faulty fuel pump module were the only noteworthy items on the report... Nothing about any modifications for anything else... Maybe it has to do w/ that fuel pump? Perhaps they used an upgraded one?
