Acetone relives the gas molecules of surface tention. It is suppose to atomize the fuel that you burn better. More surface area per volume of fuel should burn more efficient. I also ran it in my car at a 3 oz. per 10 gallon ratio. There is a TON of informatiuon on the internet if you type it into your search engine page. I saw very little increase in fuel milage. It was also a pain to carry acetone in the trunk with a measuring cup and add it in every tank. I ran it for about six months when I was commuting a long ways to work everyday. Not worth it in my book, although I never expirenced any problems.
