accessory control module?????
Ok, here it goes..........I have a 97 expidition with 240,000 miles that has ran great up until recently.
I had a broken spark plug on #8 cylinder. I replaced the plug and the coil assy.
Since then the battery wont hold a charge, the security system is acting goofy, and the radio is now blank and doesent work. I did disconnect the pos. cable before replacing the plug and COP, and up until tonight it started just fine by jumping it. I jumped it to test the battery and alt. but when I shut it off to try a restart the motor wont even turn over and there is a box called the "accessory control module" that is clicking and causing the dash and parking lights to flash. All the fuses are intacked. Any ideas? And what does the accessory control module do exactly? Any help or advice would be wonderful!!!!!!!
