The Movie called To Kill A Mocking Bird is a drama directed by Robert Mulligan, and the music was performed by Elmer Bernstein. The main characters in this move are Greggory peck as Atticus, Philip elford as Jem and Mary badham as Scout. This movie takes place in 1962, In a small town named Maycomb, in Alabama. The movie is about the conflict's between the White and Coloured people, and when one coloured man is accused for the rape of a white woman, the coloured and white people grow even further apart in their hatred. This is a good quality film, and there are many good things I could tell you about it, but I will focus in on two of them. During the film, the coloured man accused of rape goes to court, to decide his fate, on whether he is innocent or guilty. Another part of the film I enjoyed, was not a scene, but rather the performance by one of the actors, Greggory Peck as Atticus Finch, he showed real determination throughout the film, fighting the the coloured man's rights. This is truly a great film, but like any other film, it has it's flaws. I was not particularly impressed with the Fight scene near the end of the movie, because of many reason's, but mainly because you couldn't see what was going on.
I liked the the court scene in the movie because it showed a lot of emotion, compassion and real determination by the lawyers, mainly Atticus. The setting was very realistic for the decade this movie was based upon. This was a very intense scene, that showed a lot of ambition, especially from Atticus Finch, Tom Robinson's lawyer. This was my favorite scene, but I have another "like" if you will, that I would like to share with you.
I really enjoyed Greggory Pecks' (Atticus Finch's) performance, throughout the film he always showed a sort of "strength," like nothing could take him down, but he did not show this strength by yelling or fighting, but a silent determination. When he spoke, it felt real, like he was talking to you, and that really impressed me. Of course there are many more things I liked about this movie that I could share with you, but instead I will tell you about part of the movie that I wasn't really impressed with.
Even though I liked To Kill A Mocking Bird because of the Court scene, and Atticus Finch's performance because he showed real emotion, I was not too fond of the fighting scene near the end of the movie. This scene was hard to follow, most of the time the camera was focused on scout, as she watched Jem struggle with the man that attacked them, that is not all, this scene was also to dark, and you could not tell what was going on. This, in My opinion was the worst scene of the film.

Over all this was a great movie, it was full of emotion, and made you feel like you were back in he 1960's, as a child. I think this movie would be a good watch for anyone that enjoys a good drama with a few funny "hits" along the way. On a scale of one too ten, I would rate this movie an eight. Thank you for reading my review, I hope you enjoyed it.
