Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Bad enough that the first guy went in -- didn't look like there was any obvious reason for that.
As for the first wrecker -- "Man is my face red"
So, 2 Darwin candidates?

don't know how they do it elsewhere but the knuckleheads just about put the whole
truss package together and then lift it up. Well I guess the operater must have called
it a bit too close and let them nail a couple runs more and had his boom out a bit too
too far and the crane truck popped a big wheeley and chopped the lintle for the two
car garage in half and took out the bonus room. Luckily noone got hurt except for
when his wife beat him for losing another job to a boneheaded move.
A company I worked for wouldn't replace a tire on a loader that kept getting flat and
wouldn't you guess it was a front tire so that is where all the weight it carried!! I
made the suggestion move it to the rear it will be safer, NO NO NO just fill it up!! Of
course it was a newer Kawi and didn't have a air system, There was many a times I
went to a jobsite and someone was running it with a low tire and lifting the rear up
leaning way over.
Man it just happened I am watching the news and a crane fell in miami and hurt 2
people!! What the heck folks these are big pieces of metal that will hurt you if you
cut corners!! Attach all safety items and be sure things that may cost you your life
doesn't get put back just to wring a few more hours out of the part, Sure it is pretty
pricey to replace things with the price of labor, hours out of service etc. but your
workers or your life is not worth it!! I have quit jobs because the truck had one defect
or another or refused to drive it and said fire me if you don't like it but I am not driving
it and risking a mothers or childs life!! NO JOB IS WORTH SOMEONES LIFE don't do any
stupid things or shortcuts that should be called death cuts. Think ahead and think
what is the worst possible scenario that could happen, Like those people in the picture
that are standing in between the water and the truck and were more then likely swept
over too.

Sometimes it's sad to have to let go of some old ones, though. The legend of Gore-Orphanage is right in my back yard. I grew up with it and even disproved it in my youth. Now, at 45, it's sad to see the curtain pulled fully back on Snopes for all the world to see. The legend was way cooler than the truth totally exposed.
