1978 f-150 302 flywheel

I just purchased a new flywheel from an auto parts store for my 1978 302. The o.e. number stamped on the flywheel is E8TZ-6375-C I thought that the letter E stood for ford vehicles built in the 80s. Can any one tell me if this is the right flywheel? THANKS!:-X12

Can't tell you for sure but compare the balance weight on the two. If the new one is definitely larger, it is the 50oz weight. This started in the mid 80's.
