Air shocks were not factory, those were put on by a previous owner.

Like Dennis said there is a retainer clip holding the gear to the lower end of the cable. I don't think the gear is available at an auto parts store.

There are 6 different speedo DRIVEN gears. All are available from Ford.

TEETH: 16 / 17 / 18 / 19 / 20 / 21

Count the number of teeth on your gear, post what it is.

I'll give you the Ford part number and the price.

ill have to get back with ya on that, i reinstalled it for the time being since its not a daily driver and not top priority, but i will consult you when the time comes... thanx........it just amazes me at the wealth of knowledge on this site
