Best way is to put the 6" kit in. Cheapest is to add some 2" blocks under your body mounts.
I personally don't believe in body lifts though, but it's up to you. If you do go that route, please do the right thing and raise your bumpers too.
Nothing worse than seeing a lifted truck with the big ole' gap between the body and bumpers.........

You can't just drop in longer springs.

Id like to add that, I have a 4" rough country lift on my truck. The axle drop brackets came with pre-drilled holes for a 4" and 6" lift. So you would simply have to drop it down the 6" lift hole. But who knows if there all the same...

Some have one set of holes and come in two different lengths too. It all depends on what he's got.

Keep in mind that 6" drop brackets put a LOT more stress on the crossmember. It is recommended that you bolt and weld them in.
I've seen quite a few crossmembers with stress cracks in them because of the additional strain put on them by the drop brackets.
