Plastic engine cover

Call me crazy, but I'd like to keep that little piece of plastic on the motor (for now at least). The piece that bolts to the engine on my truck is broken, I was wondering if anyone has pulled theirs off and no longer wants it. Let me know!

I have the cover, but the mount is still on the motor. Can the mount be left off? I havent looked at it that close. If it can I'll take it off and send it to ya.

Cant agree with you more. I was going through some deep mud last summer...mixed with water - havin a little fun. I hit it going about 35mph and felt my feet get wet..What the hell? lol And my engine was covered in mud. I didnt have the 6637 at this time, thankfully.

Randomhero.... For sure.. I do a tonne of dirt road driving and when its wet that mud spray gets every where.. I'm going about 50-60 MPH on this stuff for hours on end !!!! I just put in my 6637 and I will be getting a couple cover from pete so I can switch them every week !!!

When you guys did your Zoodad mod... did you take out that rad support piecce to do the work ?????????????

I was going to do that ages ago and forgot all about it for a while... I'm away from home so much through out the year.. This is the time of year I play with my truck and get it all fixed up for the season... so I can abuse the poor thing again....

As far as I could tell there are just two bolts that hold it on. That would be awesome if you'd do that! I'd gladly pay the shipping at least.

The zoodad? The only thing i did was remove the grille. 4 screws on top and 4 clips on bottom. I used a flat head to pop each clip. Then i used a hole saw and drlled 2 big holes. One upper and one lower. then cut the rest with a sawzall. Real easy. Then sanded em down.
