Actually Joe the truck is stock it has not even been tuned. He said the only thing done to it was bigger tires. Very impressive.
From the first post in the thread: "The easy part was for Jerry to tune the truck, the hard part was getting a 18' extended cab F350 with over size wheels, on my 16' dyno."
AFAIK, the stock 08s are putting out around 290HP stock. One was dyno'ed when I ran last weekend at 305HP, and that was after exhaust mods.
This truck was all stock, with over sized wheels, so in reality it would have made more power with the stock wheels, I am going to add exhaust and a cold air kit next week, and I expect it to gain 70 RWHP with that.

This is from post #4
I know -- he meant other than tuning. And I doubt he'll get 70 HP out of an exhaust & intake, but it will be good to see how it turns out. They don't do 500HP without tuning.
Here's the stock *FLYWHEEL* numbers. Subtract 15-20% for driveline losses and you're at roughly 290 RWHP that I quoted: "The 6.4-liter Power Stroke ® Diesel delivers 350 horsepower at 3,000 rpm and 650 lb.-ft. of torque...".
That's also inline with the numbers I saw when it dyno'ed last week, again after nothing but exhaust mods (305/649).
I look forward to seeing how these hold up at the 500HP+ level. It's funny on the timing too. I just commented last week that I was looking forward to seeing what the 08s would do with more mods & tuning. I guess I got my answer. Look out D-max & CTD!!
Wow that is some impressive numbers, now we know what a CR PSD can do. Just imagine with the emissions stuff taken off and some bigger injectors. Though I wonder if these trucks will be like the 6.leakers with tuners, just a little tune and you blow a head gasket.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking as well. We'll see. From what I understand, the 6.4 is just a 6.0 with slightly bigger jugs, compounds, and extra emissions crap. Time will tell.
I though they completely reworked the 6.4s into a totally different beast. I wonder though what the new LMMs and 6.7s are putting down. I know Dodge is having alot of trouble out of these new motors apparently emissions and Cummins don't mix.
