somethings burning
Drove my 06 about 125mi yesterday, pulled up to a stop light & I thought someone was burning something along side the road. Nope smells like electrical, & I can't seem to find anything hot. You can smell it under the truck as well as around the front driver side wheel well.
Anyone got any ideas?

I encountered same thing today. I lifted hood to fill windshield fluid and smelled something burning like rubber. Checked under hood and did not find anything amiss. I just changed oil yesterday and everything seems to be fine.

I forgot to mention that the only other thing I did yesterday was add coolant. I noticed it was below the MIN level just a little so I added some to reservoir. I did notice today after driving the truck that the reservoir was totally full.

You want to keep the coolant level at the min mark when cold. When the motor heats up the pressure pushes the level down.
