dana 70 rear
does anyone know if i would get any benefits from swapping out my 10.25 for a dana 70 rear? i wann switch from the posi to a detroit locker but im going to keep the 4.10 gea ratio. any ifo would be awesome

No real benefit what so ever.

If youve got a sterling now I wouldnt swap it out for a D70. I would however swap in some D70 ring gear bolts and a solid pinion shim kit from a 9". Detroits are about the same price for both. $589.00 for a 70 and $599.00 for the sterling.
I like the sterlings because you can remove the brake drums without pulling the shafts
