Look at some of the contraptions cubans come over here on, Remember that old 50's
truck with the 55 gallons all around they didn't have trouble until the driveshaft went
and broke leaving them stranded.
Well I thought I'd throw this in here. I made this for my girlfriend for Valentine's day a while back. It's a circuit that says her name the way a digital clock would - the digits are called seven segment displays. Thought I would do something original!

Being a geek myself, and one married for 14 years, I must say that while I would appreciate the making of such a thing, my wife would pretend she loved it yet be secretly hurt at how unromantic it is.
I understand and appreciate circuits. They understand and appreciate chocolate, jewelry, Teddy bears and flowers.
If I built a houseboat I'd be using 55 gallon drums.
(same principle)
A couple of years ago, the family and I took our vacation on Norris Lake, in Tennessee, on a houseboat.
This houseboat is not what we imagined.
It was a three bedroom rambler on 55 gallon drum pontoons!!!
My wife's cousin called it a 'home-built houseboat'.
It was strange, at first. . . but, it had everything on it that you would need, including phone, electric, cable TV.
This marina was set up like a little town. Streets, 'alleys', and a pump barge (to clean septic tanks) came by evey two days.
Most of these houseboats had a deck, a swimming platform, and also a 'boatport'. (A floating carport!)
While we were down there, a builder was towing in a new houseboat.
I was amazed. $60,000.00, turnkey.
C'mon, Dutch!!!!!!!! Strap together some 55 gal. drums. It'll work!

Haha, I must admit when I first handed it to her when it was turned off, she had no idea what it was
