So- I'm down at the big river, at the boat launch ramp. Kicking back, hangin' out, talking with people. Out of the blue a weird idea comes to me (which is where the best ones come from).
At swap meets in southern cal - they sell a lot of odd stuff made out of beer cans. Model biplanes you can hang up on your porch for instance, plain old garage stuff....
I decided to make a boat out of empties to sail across the river to Arkansas. JUST A MODEL BOAT - I'm not going to ride it!

Perhaps after the scale model test is successful then you can go full scale. If you let me help ya empty those beer cans I'd be glad to captain the full scale vessel
Well,,I dont care what you make it out of,,just hurry up and get it finished. I figure if you make the walls of the houseboat out of bud cans there might be a lot of women who want to ride on the party barge,,,,,count me in!
Maybe you could locate those sisters who sold their corn flake for over 1000 dollars and float it to the people who bought it?Just an idea, you could make yourself some money to buy more beer?

As a kid I lived near a large lake. I walked up and down the country road picking up empty wiskey/wine bottles (with caps on). I put them in an apple crate and sealed it up and used it as my boat. It was stable after I put a weight on the bottom.
