i understand that it's tough to find a 4bbl intake for 351w.
iv'e located one at a local salvage, on an 85 f150.
is this a good candidate for a 80 model 351w?
the motor is in my 70 f100. my main question is, will the base gasket
seal right if dont install the egr plate.
any advice would be appreciated rq
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 03-Jan-03 AT 11:25 PM (EST)]I don`t know about the intake, but when I took the intake off my old block to put on my new one, I didn`t install that plate under the intake. I just put one set of gaskets on and bolted the intake back on. I haven`t had any problems with mine. When I did this I asked these fine people on this website and someone said that it would be allright. Turns out they knew what they were talking about!!
