How important is coolant filtration?

For 7.3's, it's a definite "must do" when changing the water pump.

It's a definite "should do" if you're water pump is still good.

I have 7.3 PSD, 2002 Ford Excursion, it's my baby. I have everything that Banks sells for the 7.3 PSD, but I am looking to do more tweaking. I will order the coolant filter from dieselsite today

Who makes the 6637 air filter? I have a S & B air box currently which seems to have a K & N filter of some sort.

The 6637 is the PN from Napa. Basically it is a DIY Tymar intake.

All you need is the filter and a short piece of 4" pipe.
