weird shifting problem
My 97' 460 auto F250 has some shifting issues. On the gear selector if you ever go past drive into 2nd or 1st and then once you go back into drive it wont shift out of 1st some times or it will shift but it will only shift into second. But it dose **** eventually after gasing it and then letting off, it might just take 7 or 8 trys to shift. It dosnt matter if its summer or winter it has happened at both times of the year, it is nothing major but it is majorly annoying. Any thing helps thanks guys

hey i solved the problem hope this helps you my truck was doing the same thing and i did some research and found out that on that tranny the nuetral safety switch as auto zone calls it tells the tranny when to shift so i changed that and now the truck shifts smooth and perfect its a 37 dollar part
