Side note on the ball berings, I have seen some use petrolium jelly to hold the ball berings in place as you put them in there respective locationa nd it holds them in there for assembily. I cannot attest as to what the petrolium jelly may or may not due in the tranny, but I would gues the instructions may use this method or som other lube/grease to hold them in there.

Those berings can be a PITA to keep them in, and possibly asking a reputable tranny shop what they recommend for keeping them in place for assembily may help.

C6 only uses one band and three clutch packs. If you are going to put in a shift kit, read the instructions well and be shure when you separate the valve body do it over something that will catch any of the check ***** that might fall out. Try to identify which ones you have as different C6s may not have all the ones shown in your kit. Saves a lot of time on your knees looking for one that was never there.
