need quick help tarnny lines

i have a 86 f250 with a 400 and a c6. i need to know the flow from the tranny fluid from the tranny to the radaitor. i need to hook my tranny cooling line back up to the radiator and then back to my after market tranny cooler. i think this might be my problem to slipping after driving her for awhile on the freeway. i dont think that after market cooler is enough with out the radiator. so if anyone can tell me which tub coming out the tranny sends the hot tranny fluid to the radiator and if it goes to the bottom of the radiator or to the top and what one sends the cooled down tranny fluid back. i need to fix this problem tomorrow morroning when i put my new brake boster in. thankx for the help and tips

The problem is the trans. not the fluid. If cooling it more makes it better you've got a problem especially cruising on the freeway. An aftermarket cooler on it's own is way better than the cooler in the radiator. The rad. only cools it to the temp. the vehicle is at (180, 192 degrees) If you route it to the rad. than the cooler it's just more plumbing/more problems. Try flushing the fluid and using SeaFoam or Lucus treatment.

i didnt know that sea foam works on the tranny. how do you use sea foam on the transmission. about 1600 miles ago i had the tranny out with the engine. i drained the torqconverter and changed the tranny filter and replaced the tranny fluid. i dont know much about this tranny for i just got it shortly before i replaced my engine. i just know that drivin the freeway for about 30 or so min and then getting off and once first starting to move it seems to slip a little before catchn. so the after market cool is very well enough for the tranny

You have to get SeaFoam marked TransTune, are you sure theres enough fluid in it?
