Hahah no thanks! But! a buddy of mine has an edge evo, you can look at like pressure from that? Joe/Bill/Tim, will that work for what were trying to do here? or do I need an actual gauge?
an actual mechanical gauges will be best. the Evo will show what the EPC system see's for pressure but that could be part of the problem. The pressure that the system see's could be wrong and part of the problem. we need to see the pressure that is actually being produced.
you need the gauge definatly, that way you can see what is going on both before and after you send it into limp mode.
cross one bridge at a time, as for the chip, i would think you want the typical tw trans tunes. the stock pressures are probably part of your flaired/slipped shifts but there may be more issues.

Joe, it was having the issues before with the TW standard tunes, and that's why I sent it back for the re-burns. It's better now than it was before but the problems are still evident
You have to check the line pressures in all gears at idle.(trans warm)
If low donot stall test.
If it passes with good line then move to the stall test.
Let the trans cool some between each gear test.
Note the stall rpm and pressure. This will help pinpoint the issue if any.
Alright Thanks bill. What exactly do I need to build gauge? Where will I connect it? What type of hose? Fittings? Can I get this at local NAPA or Parts shop or do I need something specialized? Thanks!
