The only con I know of for a Tymar, is that I didn't get it fast enough. It IS the perfect intake for our trucks. The HPX line, smoother idle and smoother power in the upper RPM range. Well worth the money from Dale.

Cant tell you about the TYMAR when I was looking at intakes was told they didnt have one for the OBS truck then I found this website and look. I hate the liers. Do have the HPX though all it is is a line that connects both sides of the enginge together so that the comp is reading both instead of just one. Makes run smoother plus very cheap upgrade.

Haven't gotten to it. I'm in the middle of my work week at my night shift job. We work 12hr shifts from 6 to 6. So when I'm working my main job, it's just work, eat, sleep, work...... Kinda sucks. But I've taken off Monday and Tuesday to do my gear vendors overdrive. So somewhere in there I will swap the PCM's. I promise, I'll get it done asap.

Well, I swapped the PCM's. If anything the throttle response is a little better. Maybe smoother idle. I swapped them while I was waiting on driveshafts to be built for my GV unit. And since getting my driveshafts back, I've been fighting vibrations. So I've only driven the truck on test drives paying attention to vibrations only....pretty much. And I'm now driving my mother in laws PT cruiser....... Yeah, that sucks. But it's an extra car they don't drive, and I don't want to drive my truck shaking like a dog crapping peach seeds. I've layed on the asphalt for 2 days trying to get my angles right. But no luck with the vibs. I'm convinced that the driveshaft shop didn't balance my rear shaft. I've had the angles everywhere from perfect, to 6 degree's out and it made no difference. Anyway, when I get to drive it more than a few minutes, I'll try to give a better report.
