Been there unfortunately when it comes to this particular plate it becomes very vague and there are all soughts of different details given me.
Have someone who might be able to get info from Ford Australia direct if not I will just put a match to the whole thing and start a new. (Joking)
Before I posted that ref, I had another go at reading that *^$# plate...it's just too hard for me to read (63 yr old eyes)...could you either post a larger pic, or email me a larger pic?
No worries as soon as I can I will try and get a better Pic for you.
Thanks for the help

have you looked at the right front frame rail my truck has the vin number stamped in the frame right behind the radiator support, an unless they had to modify the frame making it right hand drive the original factory vin should still be stamped into the frame in that spot. hope this helps.
Yes I have looked there and under the cab on the chassis rail again nothing. There must be one somewhere (I hope) but until we pull the cab off and sand blast the chassis I am not holding out much hope of finding one.
Richard.

All he means is that over here in the US we drive in the right lane with our steering wheels on the left. The mail trucks have the steering wheel on the right. That way mailmen can just pull over and step out of the truck without stepping out into traffic. And in rural areas where mail boxes are out by the road, all he has to do is drive up to the box and deliver the mail without stepping out of the truck at all.
Thats cool thanks for enlightening me.
Over here its usually the road sweepers that are similar but they have dual controls Both left & right.
