No, just hoping my travel trailer stays put with all this weather we have been getting lately. Down here for the next outage so I am spending money I havent even made yet. Bought the filter setup today and AE the other day.
Chase, I didnt ask about service intervals or the price on the kit. I would imagine you could use the same oil and stuff from a k&n, but I would not say that 100% yet. That is a good point and I guess I will have to call and find out.

I dont know why I think this, but I thought some manufacturers were not able to be used on others. I could be completely wrong, but it could be true with some, seeing as, for example, K&N's chemicals and oil might destroy a differenet filter that uses a different filter element material.

Definetly somethign to look into.
Just called, and as Brandon said above. An AFE cleaner kit and oil will work. Somewhere about $10 or so. So I guess it is the same idea K & N uses and even close to the same price.
It looks just like a Amsoil filter to me.<O</O I have one of them on my APS CAI on my race car... Same color same type of tapered cone at the end on the inside...<O></O>
Brandon,
Love your new filter! that thing looks good, i really need to upgrade mine. Have you felt/seen a difference with the new AFE filter compared to the 6637 you previously have in there?

Give me a week to let you know, I have had an Uppipe leak that I just fixed today, so my boost has been down and my egts up.
According to the flow numbers that I got from AFE (850CFM) this thing flows twice as much as the 6637. Am I gonna feel a SOTP difference? probably not. I am I gonna feel a piece of mind difference? yeah, I think so.

I would have thought that the backflowing "whooosh" when dropping off the pedal might be a tad bit quieter since there is a lot more surface area and flow capability in comparison to the 6637.
