what mich tires ,where did you get them, how much did you pay and what kind of mileage can I expect ? i have a 2004 ex 4x4 witha 6.0 in it. I drive a lot of in town and about 3-4 trips to FL each year 2000 miles a trip.
I had a set of Michelin ATX/AS (I believe) on my 06 cummins ram. The best tires I have ever owned. I put 45000 on them and they still had 1/2 tread remaining. The handle great on pavement, wet or dry and do superb in slush and compacted snow going over the mountain passes. I commuter 200 miles a day and over Washington's largest pass. I wouldn't put any other tires on for that type of driving. They weren't that great in deeper snow though (over 6") Costco had them for 190 mounted and balanced (265/75/17)
I place right much faith in customer reviews and ratings. You can view these ratings and reviews on www.tirerack.com . And right now the Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor tires are the best thing since sliced bread. And they will save you $100 to $150 when comparing them to a Michelin set of four.

I agree! I have the LTX/AS OWL E tires with 46,000 miles on them and have at least 1/2 the tread left. Very quiet, smooth ride and great handling, especially when towing. Best Michelin truck tires I have ever had.
i put a set of LTX michlens on my van TV... after 120,000 one of the rears blew out but this was due to being overloaded most of the time... the front are still on it and has plenty of tread left...
I've had several different types of SUV's over the years and have never had tires as good as the Michelins. Whenever I have to replace existing tires on them I use Michelins.
