But other then the transimissions I am REALLY happy with United Rentals, too much paper work I spent ALL of today on paper I'll finish paperwork tommorrow and do computer lessons. Then I'll be able to start training on each piece of equipment they figure I'll finally get to drive a truck on next Tuesday..... It's gonna be a long week.

i think its cool they train you on each piece of equipment.

Do they rent out those smaller bull dozers? I wouldnt mind getting one of them for a week

There's alot of equip. I haven't seen there yet. And they are actually Certifing a guy in each type of equip. kinda cool I guess.
Because as the delivery guy it is my job to train each renter.

Don't think they got anything that big as in a Backhoe, but I already have a couple hundered hours on a Cat Backhoe.

Oh forgot to mention trailior might get me into some sticky situations, it's 9 feet wide.. and I have been warned about something called tailswing.

Cant tell you anything about that except for the trailer I jsut bought had a little tailswing on me in the slush. I dont think shes 9 feet wide though, thats a wide assed trailer.

It's 9 feet I need a constant overwidth permit, I checked. It has flags on it and the whole 9 yards.

You betcha its too wide, legal width is 8.5 feet, or 2.6 meters

My woman is writing her 1a learners and she just read through all that stuff yesterday!

Yep measured it myself today 9 feet wide. Still barely wide enough for some of the larger booms and Zoom Booms.
