cleaning motor

I have a oil leak that is leaving marks on my driveway. I looked around the motor and saw oil but I could not seem to see where it starts from . Can someone tell me how to go about washing down the motor so I can see where the oil leak is starting from?

Get Simple Green and spray on engine, let soak, wash off with water hose. Be careful around alt, filter area.

The only thing I cover is the air filter and even use a pressure washer. I do use air to blow off all electrical connections and the alternator.

Be careful of the ICP sensor. The silicone that seals the top peels up after a while and lets water seep into the sensor. Lets just say I would have rather spent the $125 on something else.

You should also cover the PS pump. There is a bleeder hole in the lid and it WILL get water in it if you don't. I cover my 6637, alt, and PS pump. Then I'm careful around connectors...
