installed new autolite copper core plugs, new wires, and cap and rotor now seems low on power. gapped plugs to .52 as per specs. on lable. what could i have done wrong? never had this problem before. Had trouble getting wires under intake on pass. side but can't find any broken wires. Also cap will wiggle by hand is this normal? Note this is on my wife's 95 f150 5.0 2wd.

are you sure you got the wires in the right spot. if you have 2 switch then you will be down on power. when you wiggle the cap is the whole distributor turning or just the cap. if the whole thing is turning then the timing is going to be off and that will make you lose power

cap does not sound like it is on right.

are you positive that you have all the wires on the right way?

triple check and make sure it is a diagram for your year engine.

the cap just seems to rock a little, will check wires again, but have never had a problem before.
