Oil Temp Mod

Hopefully c00nhunterjoe sees this but maybe someone else can help me if he doesn't. He was tellin me tha I could put a 4K resistor on 1 of 2 wires to trick the comp into thinkin that the oil temp to the injectors is cooler than it is. Does anyone have some pics of the wires I should connect to?

if the oil is colder then the pcm will advance injector timing, adding the resistor keeps it that way

went out, did the mod,

total time start to finish- about 6 minutes

i havent driven it yet but so far i can say this, its 36 degrees here right now and i had absouluty no glow plug on time differences, some people claimed that you have to put the glow plugs on a switch because they will stay on, this is not the case, mine functioned normally. the truck sat since thursday night untouched so this was a true cold start, no difference.
pictures are loading now, will post shortly.

i used a 4.7k resistor, its all i had here, i am heading to my parents today so i will have a 100 mile trip to respond on tonight

got 115 mile round trip in tonight on the mod, mostly rolling hills with some pretty steep, 40-60 mph.

i will say this,

from a dead stop normal drive- noticeable throttle response increase
50 mph cruise- no change
mild rolling hills- takes less throttle to pull hill
steep grade- takes less effort to pull grade

0-60 mph WOT- a little faster, enough to notice a difference
50- 100 WOT- biggest increase, truck feels much better in top end power

fuel economy- to be determined

The EOT mod is a give and take due to the OEM tune.
Oem has enough advance on the bottom of the rpm band, and short on the upper rpm band. Middle ground being around 2100 rpm.
