Tachometer problems
I have an intermittent tachometer problem on 92 F-150 5.0 that is causing a chk eng light. Is the tach receiving info from the coil?

Tach causing check engine light?
Never heard of this.
More likely you have a problem causing a check engine light, and maybe seeing a result in the tach.
What codes are present?

Have a code 13, Can't control low idle. New idle motor is running idle correctly, but not showing on tach. Tack won't go below 2500. Doesn't move through full range, with key on and not running, goes to 5000.

Anyone have a wiring diagram that might help with this tach problem?
