My computer skills blow! If I do a google image search then try to copy it that part works because I have then pasted into emails but when I go to post when typing into a thread, the 'paste' option comes up light gray in color and thus not available to click on. What am I doing wrong?
If you see a picture that you want to post on a forum like this the best way to do so is as follows.
get the image on your screen after doing a googl search and go "ooh ahh" at it because it's obviously perfect.
After you find the picture, right click on it to produce a menu. Instead of clicking on "copy" you shoudl click on the next option which should read something like "Copy Image Location" or "Copy Image URL"
Depends on what browser you're using.
after that, you can either paste the url into your message like so (http://thefuntimesguide.com/images/blogs/ford_f650_front.jpg) or actually post the image itself using "forum code" which is a two word phrase that should be said as though it were being said by a ghost. I'll post an image and then under it, post the code that I used to post it.
ooh...shiney!
To do that, you type in the following.
type the tag [img] and then paste the image URL or location after that. After the URL, place another img tag but put a slash before the I. For example, [/img]
Hope that explains it rather than making it more confusing.
