Air Shocks.

I tow a 34 foot fifth wheel with my F-250 .when loaded My truck is a little nose high. Its not real bad and doesnt affect handling.Truck handles load well and carries the load good.was just wondering if I can use air shocks to level it out.Or do I need to go to airbags.
I installed overload springs on truck to help carry load but it has to drop about 4 inches before it hits overload..When it touches the overload springs It doesnt go any farther down .I just want to level it out when loaded.

Air shocks are more a thing from the past...... I am sure you can still get them but I know of no one who uses them today for heavy trailer towing. Your best bet is to go with the Firestone Ride Rite air bags, they are designed to meet your needs perfectly and they will last longer than most air shocks! I put them on my Excursion and when I put my 1000 pound tongue weight on the hitch the truck doesn't even move at all. I usually tow with the bags at 40-50 psi, but they can go up to 100 psi if your load requires that! I think they cost me like $240 for the pair............... I have had them for 1 year and they wrk awesome, and then when the trailer is not being towed I lower the psi to 10 for a softer ride.........
