Oil filter relocation kit. Came that way. Let's just say that mounting place wasn't permanent, heh. For now they're strapped to my fender where the emergency jack goes, because i cant get the darn thing to screw off of the oil filter hole.
i just want to take the damn thing off. but it's cheap, and if it's made of aluminum i'd be surprised. So my choices are try to take it out and strip my filter screw-on, or just leave it and buy some lines and a new mount and put it somewhere else.
yes relocating would be good. One rock, log, heavy chunk of mud to rip off your oil filter,and your going NOWHERE! My opinion, that was a dumb place to relocate an oilfilter! Espically on a bronco!
yeah, that's what happened. they're in the engine bay held down by the emergency jack thinger. I just havent gotten around to getting stuff for it and actually doing it.
