LMAO!!! how much was that self help book and where can I get one ? thats just kool as ****!
since we had no luck finding the throw out bearing's friendly helper arm.. how hard are these to find? This thing any good for a fun build or is it strictly a truck tranny ?
Come to think of it, there are probably several pieces of this equation missing. Might be a better idea to just look for an ole F350 beater to throw these at and shelve the left overs ...

It's on the shelf behind my...you saw the picture. LOL I was talking with some buds, we were going to start a support group, call it gearheads anonymous, nobody has room for meetings.
To go manual you also need the pivot assembly that goes between the frame and bellhousing, linkages to the pedal assembly, and pedal assembly. Then you have to look at the final drive with the rear gears and tires you have. Rearends are geared a little different for a manual.

It will be a while if ever. I'd like to sell the Dodge off and find a real truck (F350) with an original 4speed scenario.. running or not and take it on as a WIP for a little while.. you know how it is.. if they aren't projects, they're bills!!!!
Yeah, that was old. Made in the late 60's, and pretty rare. It's the only one like it I have actually gotten my hands on unfortunately.
I actually just sold that a couple weeks ago too.
