Not as good as I was wishing for, but as expected:
Best of 311/681
DynoJet 248c
Temp: 69*
Hum: 37%
Oddly enough, this was with the 120R setting. The 140 setting was virtually the same, but down a bit -- down 2HP and 7 ft-lbs. I'm thinking something went a little funky with that run, but maybe not. Wish I could've had another shot at that one. The dyno op did say that he almost never sees these numbers off the 7.3s (with stock sticks & turbo), so that was a compliment of sorts.
BTW, the 80E tune ran 294/601.
FWIW, my buddy with his 6.0 ran a best of 392/702 with a BD Triple Dog tuner, 5" ex and Air-Raid intake. Thought that was pretty damn good.
Now I need to go back and find that thread with the predictions to see who was closest...
If and when I get a DP Tuner I know I will still have stock sticks and turbo. I will be quite pleased to get these numbers from the 80E tune. This means the 80E is doing its job at the rear wheels. A definite 80 horse improvement over stock, don't you think. You did good.
Good run Joe, Had had the same numbers last time I was on the dino with the stock injectors last year. If you did the 140 run last it was probably the HPOP not being able to supply the demand....
That's not bad. I made 311 and 640 so your TQ was better than mine for some reason??? Dyno differences? Doesn't it measure one and calculate the other? Anyone know?
