Getting a little carried away aren`t we.....
Make it with a 460 and I`d agree.

You might be right about it being '74 Dustin. The first year for the f150 was '75.

Yes I agree, but if I bought one from new to drive/work I'd go with a 300 even though a 460 may be tempting at times...(evil grin)

Motor talk

You can have all those big blocks know,You have to have a large bank account to drive them, got pony's but won't pass a gas station.!!!! Had a 76 merc mertor 4 door with 460 pozy lots of power, learn quicky how to drive it. Not agreasively because if you did it like its gas. Got a good power source for a hot rod cruiser Using a 3800 and s10 autotrans work get, will smoke the tires on the old truck of a buddy of mine Spent a few hours with him putting it in and wiring it ,but was worth the time.

For a non daily driver/toy it`s hard to beat the Ford big blocks fun factor.
I hear you, quite a different story when it`s a daily driver.

We are starting to drive more now as we are getting equipment ready. This week Stoon twice - once for parts then once to get my recerback remounted. Rosthern to take dogs to vet for shots. Humboldt once for my truck and some parts in that we ordered. Humboldt two evening trips for computer classes.
Calving and equipment repair in the shop are keeping us busy as well as a bit of coyote control - we have a bunch around here!
