I believe the 360 ran same production years in trucks as the 390 did.
The 352 and 360 both used "Y" as a code
don't forget the 240.

Sherm these are just the engine years in the trucks. Technically the 302 was Fords longest built engine. 1968-2001.

The 302 has beena round a long time. Thats what they do with a good quality engine Ryan
haha J/K
Yeah i have a 77 with a 460 Sherm, longbox, rough shape. I bought it for 40 bucks (traded a set of mustang gt seats that I bought for 40 bucks) and it runs really nice. Has a c6 in it. I was hoping to build a 521 or so out of it and stick it in a early to mid 50's ford or merc half ton.
My mind changes alot about that though haha. One day its thinking flathead, one day its thinking stock 460, one day done up 460, and the next day stock 302 efi.

Nathan, what years did was the 300 produced? I think that it`s possibly the longest running Ford production engine....Though I could be wrong there.

1995 was the last year of the 302 in a car, but it was used in the 1996 to 2001 Ford Explorers.
302 - 1968/2001 = 33 years
300 - 1965/1996 = 31 years

I tried to scan a page out of my '79 sales brochure. according to it you could only get the 460 in a f150 and up. The f100 was the only one you could get in a regular cab short-box. This is just for '79 though!
