Smile Engine swap

I have an 82 half ton 4x4 with a 302. I also have a wrecked 96 bronco with 351w EFI. We have intakes and oil pans and it will bolt up to the tranny. My question is will the EFI engine run with the carb intake. I think it will but would appreciate some info.

Yes it will. You will need an older type distributor for the 351w(the 302 dist won't work), and add a electric fuel pump to the truck or swap the 302 timing cover with it's two piece pump eccentric and fuel pump mount, onto the 351w. Be careful with the waterpumps and fans. If the 351w has a serpentine belt setup, then the waterpump and the fan turn backwards compared to the older v-belt setup.
