efi to carb
can i swap a carb intake manifold for the multiport efi intake manifold, b/c i want to change to a carbed setup w/ my '89 stang/gt engine. will it be as easy as i think it is? or do i have to stick w/ the efi setup?

there is acually a decent amount of work, you have to make shure that there are no computer controls on the engine, i had a friend who tried this swap and he ruined his 351 because he did not change everything.

i bought this engine off of a friend for 60$. it's out of a '89 stang gt. he said it has like 99k miles on it. i'm planning on swaping another 'stang w/ a carb(pre '86) or into my truck.

oh in that case, if you are putting it into a car without fi then its not really a problem. you would just need to put on the intake and get a vacum advanced distributor. i dont think that the EFI engine will have the previson for a mecanical fuel pump so you will need to wire up a electric one.
