Hey their snowking
I got the perfect grill for you its in mint shape only has one little mark on it but could be repair easy at a crome shop. I only wished that this communication amoks truck enthusiasts was avalible back in the late 80's when I was working on my 46. It would have made find out info and parts a breeze.

Wow, thats really cool to hear, chalk 1 more up for the good guys .
How do you like the "crab" style distrubutor, I've never messed with one but heared good and bad about them.
Can't wait to see your gallery if ever possible.
Hey their Snow king
If you want a hair puller try to get the 2 sets of points just right. And it a sweet spot to work on the distributer ,down in the front, basicly only way to work on it is take it out and play with it on the bench got a specialty tool from a old timer to set it close. And the carb is still orginal, and that diapham fuel pump is ok when its working properly. I put in one piece guides and adjustable lifters. So when I had it out and about,it was fun to play with. But in the past 6 years it has been in strorage. Was working out east and didn't want it out their with me.Hopfully after a little TLC I'll have it on the road this summer.
The carb is easy, same carberator was pretty much used from mid 1938 till 1954 on Flatheads, I think 239, 256, 272 y blocks also used that same carb. Not to mention other motors from different companies, International and some odd ***** also used Holley 94's &97's. But yes that distrubutor is unique I heard if you swap on parts from a 1942-45ish distubutor they are not as hard to work on.
Talk to ya later, still waitin some pics if possible.
