Timing set installation
I have a 351m w/ 39,000 original miles on it from a 78 t bird. I am putting it in my 79 4wd f150, c6, 205 t case, 4.11 gears, dana 60 rear. I am putting in melling hi vol. oil pump, summit double roller timing set, and headers. The rest of the engine is stock w/ new gaskets and carb kit and all smog removed. The cam gear can be set at 0 deg. or 4 deg. advanced. What will be the best setting for this engine for gas mileage and low end power.

From what I've been reading on here, it would be 0. Or also known as straight up.
