I have an 04 F150 Lariat, the power mirrors work, but every time the switch is moved to adjust the mirror the fuse blows, ive have unpluged the switch for the time being, i have re-done the broken splices to make the driver side power seat, adjustable foot pedals, and power mirrors, evey thing works except the mirrors(motors are in good condition). I believe its a short in the wire some where upstreem of the switch but need help locating it to fix the problem.

 

What does the above mean? This truck was in a accident? Your problem seems unusual, never had anyone write in about it.

I would unplug the mirror and then plug the switch back in and operate the switch and see if it still blows the fuse.

 

Same here Franklin2 i have not found any threads on this either, and yes i have had the mirrors unpluged, still blows fuse. i believe its two or more wires of the power mirrors grounding each other out.
