4r100 problems

I am having problems with my newly acqired 2000 4wd excursion. I pumped the tranny fluid out and flushed it with like 20 quarts doing the back cooler line and letting it empty out anyways i get code po705 trans range sensor??? But even more important it shifts 1-2 fine then nothing else doesnt go in 3or 4 the od light will not come on when i hit the button hit it several times while driving and nothing the fluid looks great fresh and reddish no bad burnt smell??? What and where is the trans range sensor? I cant seem to figure this out there is no metal on the drain plug please help!

Jonathan

The transmission range sensor (TRS) is the sensor on the driver's side of the trans where the shifter cable attaches to the trans. It's the plastic part that is held on by two bolts, and has a wiring harness attached.
