4x4 problems

05 F350, transfer case engaging, hubs not engaging, did all the checks for leaks, nothing turned up, so eventually i traced it back to the solenoid on the pass side fender, it isnt activating. Does anyone know how to "bech test" the solenoid to see if it is working? What about the 3 wires that plug into it, what wires should have power and when?

I have the factory Ford service CD for 2005-2006 model years of the Super Duty's. As in this instance, I just pull up the appropriate section and save as a PDF and upload.

I have limited space and bandwidth and do not plan to do a "master" listing. If anybody has a section they need in a PDF, I am more than willing to help on a one on one basis. Just shoot me a board e-mail or PM.

The factory service CD? Sounds great. Are they available at ? Helms ,I think it was that I got the full set (5 or so books/elec. scematic) for my 83. Way back when.? How much? I would really like to have the full set with electrical for the newer 04 we recently picked up. Thanks again.
